Holding a pitch for ideas

Legal key points
  1. The number of pitches you can hold depends on your Membership package.
  2. If you want to hold more pitches, just upgrade your package. It's quick and easy simply contact membership@openad.net.
  3. All ideas entered in response to a pitch are displayed in your personal portfolio within 48 hours of the deadline. The ideas stay here for the duration of the buying period i.e. 30 days.
  4. Other Members do not have the opportunity to license these ideas until the 30 days have past. At this time (if you haven't licensed them yourself) the ideas are either returned to the Creative or placed, unbranded, in the Gallery.
  5. You are not obliged to license any of the ideas that you receive in reply to a pitch, including ideas that you may have rewarded with a prize.
  6. You can offer cash prizes for the best idea. (Any prize money paid is then removed from any subsequent licence fee payment.)
N.B. If you have offered a prize you must award it within 14 days of the deadline, even if you do not wish to license the idea. If you do not choose a winner within this time, then OpenAd.net will do so for you. It is always your responsibility to grant the prizes you offer.
  7. Prizes can't be shared between two or more Creatives (or Creative teams), unless stated in the brief.
  8. You choose whether or not you let Creatives know the brand they're pitching for.
  9. If you do not set a licence fee in the brief, the Creatives will do so when they reply. Both parties (Buyers and Creatives) have the option of using our Standard Pricing System to help them.
  10. Our worldwide network of Creatives provide between 20 and 100+ replies to pitches on OpenAd.net.

OpenAd.net guarantees that a minimum of 20 ideas will be pitched to you.
