OpenAd.net ensures, as far as possible, that intellectual property rights are respected and protected.
We record visitor logs 24 hours/day, every day, for each idea and store the records. We record every IP address that visits every idea, so that if a seller suspects a member of intellectual property rights infringement, we will provide the visitor's log (when reasonable proof is submitted to do so). This evidence would provide the basis for further legal action.
Every time someone visits our web site a log file is generated on our computer. This contains information such as the user's IP (Internet Protocol) address, how long that user spent on the site and which parts of it they looked at. We also collect this information to help us diagnose problems and administer our systems, to report aggregate information to our advertisers and to audit the use of our site (e.g. what part of the world users are connecting from, or what ISPs are being used).
